Dahtmaco has launched 20 tailoring machines campaign to help teenage mothers who are homeless, orphans, underprivileged, single mothers to acquire knowledge and skills in sewing. Educational attainment is difficult for a teenage mother and this has led to decreased economic opportunities and earnings throughout their life time.
Teenage mothers experience the hardships, pains and loneliness of single parenting, which means they are responsible for each and every expenses in their home which is not easy for them because of their economic situation. Having a specialized skill and it’s practical it will harness the potentials of our vibrant teenage mothers into becoming entrepreneurs because this kind of training helps them discover their talents thus contribute in curbing high unemployment rates.
To learn a life skill will also help teenage mothers value them selves , money management and how to run a household and to make a successful life for them selves.
